Saturday July 20th is the annual Moss Street Paint In, Vancouver Islands largest outdoor visual art event.  From the Art Gallery at Fort Street down to the ocean at Dallas Road, Moss street transforms into a display of nearly 200 professional and emerging artists. If you have not experienced this community-focused event, you have to come this year and join your neighbours and friends and the other 35,000 people!

Ayurveda – the Science of Life

Ayurveda is often referred to as the Science of Life. It is the knowledge and wisdom on how to live that originated in India over 5,000 years ago and is still used today. It is considered the sister science to Yoga and these two modalities together offer a holistic approach to balancing the mind, body, and spirit.

On July 13th, Hemma is hosting Madhuri Phillips, from Vancouver, who is an internationally known Yoga teacher (E-RYT), certified Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist (CAS) and Pancha Karma Specialist (PKS). She has been one of my teachers for many years and I am  excited for her to offer her gifts with our community here in Victoria. If you register by July 5th, you catch the earlybird price!
